Core Classes

New for January 2020 – Beginners Core Course

Starting Monday, January 13th, 18:15 to 19:10. A 5-week course covering the theory and practice of developmental core. You will learn the importance of breath mechanics, walking technique and the key exercises that research tells us are the best for our backs.

Each session will be followed up with an emailed information sheet.

On completion of the 5-week beginner’s core course, you will be able to join our Group Core Sessions, subject to space and availability.

Group Core Sessions

Run by Lisa Hayward, with 25 years of experience treating athletes from club to Olympic level as well as partaking in competitive sport as both therapist and athlete. Lisa is also one of our fully-qualified Buteyko Therapists.


Monday evenings from 18:30 to 19:30 and Thursday mornings 9:00 to 10:00.

Maximum 10 participants, £9 per session, payable monthly in advance.


Available via Zoom on Tuesday mornings, 9am until 10am. Those unable to make this time will be able to access a recording of the class. £25 per month, payable in advance.

Open to everyone, our core classes focus on key techniques we can use to unlock the true potential of the core using exercises designed to optimize breath mechanics, eye movement and balance to stimulate the brain and overwrite bad-habits.

All participants require a completed consent form prior to starting, these are sent out in advance.
